Yesterday I’ve been to a trip to Bulgaria. I took a lot of photos, even made a short video. Yet, when I saw people with a video camera on, and filming pretty much everything, I felt disappointed.

Why should you read by a plan, by design, and not random?
There are three ways in which you can read: Pleasure – “I like Science Fiction, I read SF books”; Random – “I’ll read everything; can I take it? OK, I’ll read it then”; Design – “In the next years, I’ll focus on reading only titles based on this criterion: …”; I like the latter one best; it lacks creativity, it may shape you into something you don’t want to become, but I consider it better than the two previous ones; I don’t think you can become good at something by chance; solution? Pick a criteria and stick to it. PS, 2018.08.03: Idea via Andrei Pleșu.

You don’t get smarter as you age (if you don’t chose to do so)
I have two assumptions for this blog post:
- If you don’t plan to, you don’t get smarter as you age – how can I prove this? In my opinion, most people in age are not necessarily smarter at 40 than they were at 20; sure, they are better at some things, but, overall they may not be smarter; or, to put it another way, not much smarter; I personally don’t see this in life – “People at 40 at smarter than people at 20”; sure, they are better with some skills, but not necessarily much smarter;
- If you plan to, you can get smarter – how can I prove this? A lot of people that are smart now have gone through an intended process (read the things they planned, had the experiences they planned, went through life with a plan);

“The Psychology Student’s Survival Guide” by Robert S. FELDMAN and Sara Pollak LEVINE – I’ve read this book three times. Bellow, my feed-back after the third reading.
On paper not on paper
This blog post is an online (thus, not on paper) of my thoughts about paper (on paper).
