I’ve seen Equilibrium (2002). Thoughts?
- The plot of the movie was great. I enjoyed very much following the main character’s story and everything around it.
- Actors play well.
- The movie had the main idea, against I think the makers wanted you to have some emotions against, and get an idea out of it. The trouble was, I got so immersed into the main idea, that I couldn’t get out of it in a proper manner. So, let’s say one wants to scare you to make you laugh – if they scare you too much, you won’t be able to laugh anymore. That was an issue with the movie.
- The visual parts of the movies were great.
- The fighting scenes, although not realistic, felt nice.
- Also, the special effects were very good.
- All-in-all, I didn’t enjoy the emotions this movie got me. The script was very good. 8/10.
It is one of my „all times favourite”. Lately, I thought quite a lot about the possibility of an world without emotions and books. It is deep and kind of it happens nowadays.
I believe it is base on the SF book 471 Degrees Faranheit, the plot is similar.
Well produced, good actors. I got the DVD years ago and it is the only movie I watch it on DVD player in 2020.:)
Thanks for the comment, it helps! :) Cheers!
