Agree to GDPR?
GDPR = General Data Protection Regulation.
Some people, in their terms and conditions checkboxes, use things like “Do you agree with the GDPR terms?”.
But that’s a rather lazy way of getting out of doing your work.
One should find out the exact criteria GDPR requires for the website and apply them to the website.
You can’t just say, “Do you agree with everything?”.
That’s not how things work.
One should agree to specific terms and conditions, not all.
Also, when not linking to GDPR itself, you expect people to know GDPR by heart. That’s pretty much absurd.
Future winnings
If you look 20, 40, or 60 years ago at sports competitions and compare them with the situation of today, you might notice that lots of things have changed in team preparation. New techniques, new methods.
This likely means that 20 years from now, we’ll look at the current day and say, “we were so obsolete!”.
The solution? Try to innovate and don’t think that if everyone else is doing things a certain way, that’s the optimal solution.
