So, you have #1 position on organic searches on Google. Why should you bother for the ad? The reasons are: You can get there much easily/cheaper than your competitors. You occupy yet another spot on SERP. You may actually improve the clickthrough rate of #1 organic spot if you do an ad. Nice tip.

Providing help when it’s needed – but not too much

Providing help when it's needed - but not too much

I like being offered help when I need it. For example, the best place to put a warning on electric danger may well be in the area with the electric appliances.

If you want to make a list to things to remember to do while in the car, put that list in the car.

In the online, it’s even simpler – whenever you use a function, you are given options and suggestions for it. You can change a status in Facebook for example, by hovering the mouse over the status, then clicking in the upper right are of the status message itself.

„It helps”

I am sometimes asked: How to be a successful SEO? How to build the perfect site? How to build the perfect blog? How to create the perfect newsletter? The answer to these is given by these: If you do apply all the rules for SEO, site/blog building, newsletter creation, you will have done a product which is 30% (or so) fine. If you want to strive to get to 100%, the other 70% (or so) is made by other things than: Good crawling structure / nice links for SEO. Good content / graphics for the web site. Great content for the blog. Nice news to post on the newsletter. I surely can give you a lot of tips & tricks on making a product successful. But, even by following my advice, you can only get 30% of what you can get. You still need passion, excitement, dedicated work, knowledge. The SEO process / web site / blog / newsletter is a tool. You need other things than just a tool to be successful.

How to double the space in Gmail, without losing your email address

Gmail offers about 8 GBs of data for free right now. If that’s not enough, and you want to keep your current email address, you can do the following: You have an old Gmail (A) Create a new Gmail address (B). Forward all new mail from the old address (A) to the new one (B) and set to automatically trash the new mail in mail A (it will count in the space only prior to permanent deletion by gmail, which takes some 30 days). Set to never send to SPAM, always to forward. Set B to send mail as A (you use mail B, but you may send as mail A). This is pretty much it.
