I’ve seen Now You See Me (2013) and Now You See Me 2 (2016). My thoughts?
- Both: interesting script, fun to watch.
- Both: a good play from the actors, the cast was nice.
- Both: top choice of actors to play the movies.
- Both: surprising twists in the action and reasoning, that was great.
- The first one – a good watch.
- The second one – at times, not so interesting.
- The second one – everything seems to be on fast-forward.
- I didn’t realize that the second movie had a different director, just by watching the movie.
- Both – a lack of any other emotion than just action. I was hoping for a bit more.
- Both – the ethical parts in the movie were not that great. Cutting corners? Interesting to see, hope not to apply these.
- Both – all-in-all, they were movies similar to Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), just that they didn’t bring as much things to the table.
