Bucharest, 19th February, 2026 – Educato, an AI-powered educational platform that provides interactive preparation tools for exams such as the National Assessment, the Baccalaureate, university entrance exams, and the Medical Residency exam, is offering 8th-grade students personalised preparation resources for the March National Assessment mock exam. Educato functions as a “digital tutor,” integrating a comprehensive learning ecosystem that includes mock-style tests, step-by-step explanations, and structured theory, serving as an accessible alternative to traditional private tutoring. The platform offers two pricing plans: the first three days are free of charge, after which the subscription costs RON 70 per week or RON 140 per month, less than the cost of a single private tutoring session.
“The National Assessment, like any important exam, is not only a test of knowledge but also a test of resilience: students must simultaneously manage the curriculum, their study pace, fear of failure, and the pressure of results. Every year, we see the same pattern: students don’t necessarily need to study more, but to study in a more structured way and receive feedback. When you have a clear plan, realistic practice tests, and can see the progress you’ve made, anxiety decreases, and self-confidence grows. We have thousands of examples confirming that structured preparation can completely transform a student’s academic journey”, says Codruț Lemeni, CEO Educato.
Educato addresses a real need among students in Romania, who do not lack effort but structure: they study extensively, yet often do not have a clear study plan and struggle to identify where they are making mistakes or what they need to improve. The platform transforms exam preparation into a structured learning process with clear objectives, well-defined steps, and instant feedback, built around two key tools:
- Guided learning with instant feedback: Every exercise on Educato is explained in detail, step by step, in line with the official curriculum, ensuring that students understand both the final answer and the reasoning behind each solution. Students receive immediate feedback and can quickly identify where and why they made mistakes. In addition, the platform integrates a “digital teacher” that provides instant answers to students’ questions.
- Weekly simulations under real exam conditions: Students can upload photos of their own solutions directly to the platform, where they are automatically graded. After evaluation, they receive a score and gain access to an anonymous ranking, allowing them to compare their performance with that of other participants nationwide. As a result, the preparation process becomes consistent, objective, and easy to track.
The real impact of this approach is already reflected in the outstanding performance of Educato users.
“The results of this type of preparation are already clearly visible in the field of Medicine. In 2025, the top three candidates nationwide in the Medical Residency exam were Educato users, which is a strong signal that when students have structure, realistic simulations, and instant feedback, high performance becomes repeatable, not accidental”, ads Codruț Lemeni.
The growth in 2025 was spectacular: Educato users studied 79 times more hours than the previous year, with the total volume rising from 2,900 hours to nearly 229,000 hours. By December 2025, Educato surpassed 100,000 registered users, and an additional 15,000 students joined in the first six weeks of 2026.
In January 2026 alone, nearly 10,000 students spent over 43,000 hours preparing for exams. February 2026 is already shaping up to be the most active month yet: in just 13 days, 22,000 study hours were recorded, with estimates suggesting that over 50,000 hours will be reached.
Overall, Educato users have collectively spent more than 34 years studying and have answered almost 25 million questions. On the busiest day, more than 2,100 students accumulated 2,116 hours of study, equivalent to 88 days of learning in a single day. The most dedicated user studied daily for 309 consecutive days.
The Educato platform can also be used by teachers and tutors as a support tool for classroom activities and for reinforcing students’ individual learning. Educato analyzes all official National Assessment exam questions and calculates the relevance of each topic based on its frequency and associated points. Using a student’s activity on the platform and their progress in each chapter, Educato estimates their current level of preparation and the grade they could potentially achieve if they took the exam at that moment. This makes the learning process data-driven rather than based on guesswork.
The 2026 National Assessment mock exam will begin on March 16, with written tests in Romanian Language and Literature, Mathematics, and, where applicable, the Mother Tongue. Results will be announced on March 30. Approximately 200,000 students are expected to participate in this year’s simulation.
