While in high school, I once was about to cross the street on a designated place for that purpose (a zebra).
But the distance to the zebra was quite high, and the road was empty.
Still, I took the long path.
A good friend of mine was surprised by my decision.
Today, I still wear a mask whenever I go out, even if they’re not mandatory anymore.
In my opinion, you should try and do good no matter the circumstances.
