Scanning a card in a non-compatible app

Let’s say you want to scan a card in a non-compatible app on your smartphone.

So, you have an old smartphone, you can’t install app X, but you have a card in there you need to scan.

How to do it?

I found a solution: install the app on a compatible phone, take a screenshot of the card, add the card as an image to the non-compatible smartphone, show the card as an image.

Atypical, but it works fine.

Reading as an exercise

I think reading is more of an exercise.

It helps you create some circuits, it makes you think in a certain way, it creates the path for dialogue.

It’s certainly not the only way of developing oneself.

You could study, you could work, you could volunteer, you could attend a conference, you could watch a movie.

I like reading, but not as a one-fits-all solution.

Pare că predomină opinia lui Mitică Dragomir, culeasă de Radu Paraschivescu în noua sa antologie de perle Noi vorbim, nu gândim, apărută la Editura Humanitas: ”Citeşti azi, citeşti mâine, citeşti poimâine, te apucă pandaliile, fratele meu!”. Temător de pandalii, poporul se fereşte de citit.

Am fost de multe ori la Alouette, probabil localul în care am fost de cele mai multe ori.

Am avut odată nevoie de niște condiții mai speciale la un drum Marea Britanie – România și au fost amabili cu mine.

Ulterior, i-am vizitat de mai multe ori.

În general, comesenii mei au fost încântați, ca și mine, atât de servicii cât și de produse (mâncare/băutură).

E și central, în Piața Unirii.

Initially, if left me an image of being a show which has nothing on my taste.

So, I had some preconceptions – „Oh, see this – I don’t like this habit at all”.

After actually seeing a few episodes, I realized I like the shows just for that – the things that annoyed me without seeing the movie are actually the strong points.

The general consensus in the SEO community is that structured data (or Schema) is important. But, does schema actually improve your rank in search engines? Well, no or at least, not directly. However, while it’s not a ranking factor in itself, schema does indirectly increase your rank on the SERPs (search engine results pages).

Despre traversarea străzii

Cred că cel mai important criteriu la trecerea străzii e să nu o faci automat, ci să stai într-o mică tensiune și să fii concentrat(ă).

Eu am mereu o strângere de inimă când sunt pe orice tip de spațiu unde ar putea fi mașini – parcări, străzi cu sens unic (mă uit în ambele sensuri), drumuri puțin circulate.

Am în minte aproape constant „aici ar putea/nu ar putea trece o mașină”, și încerc să îmi impun – „Când treci strada, atenție să fii concentrat”.

Altfel, dacă fac lucrurile automat, la un moment dat, cel puțin la mine, apare excepția – „Am trecut de atâtea ori pe aici, știu cum e, sunt stăpân pe situație”.

Dacă ai o stare de tensiune, o să cauți, în mod normal, soluții să eviți un potențial accident.

Timp cu familia

Eu nu sunt părinte, dar pentru cel mai important lucru în dezvoltarea unui copil e cum își petrece timpul.

Câteva lucruri care mi se par importante, din perspectiva mea de non-părinte:
1. Timp cu familia;
2. Timp limitat la dispozitive electronice; să fie anumite restricții;
3. Timp în natură (preferabil bunici sau rude la țară, petrecut ceva timp; dacă nu, e OK și vizite ca turist/tabere);

Asta cu „am obiectul cutare sau nu” mi se pare destul de irelevantă. Petrecerea timpului mi se pare mai importantă, contează cum se alocă acel timp. Dacă un Lego costă câteva sute bune de lei și e folosit rar, poate fi o achiziție mai puțin utilă.

Separat de lucrurile astea, abilitatea de a zice „Nu”. Să pot zice „Stop, nu face asta”.
