I’ve seen Nomadland (2020). Thoughts? (with spoilers!)

Despre The Harder They Fall (2021)
Doar două idei despre The Harder They Fall (2021):
Mie mi-a plăcut mult fimul.
On The Island (2006) movie
Have a look at this video (Romanian): „Dosare de presă” cu Cornel Ciomâzgă. Calea spre trezvie a unui fost jurnalist. – YouTube.
About: Ostrov (2006) – IMDb.
I enjoyed this perspective.
On The Office (TV Series 2005–2013)
I watched some episodes of The Office (TV Series 2005–2013).
Initially, if left me an image of being a show which has nothing on my taste.
So, I had some preconceptions – “Oh, see this – I don’t like this habit at all”.
After actually seeing a few episodes, I realized I like the shows just for that – the things that annoyed me without seeing the movie are actually the strong points.
A quote from Begin Again (2013) I like a lot
There’s this quote from Begin Again (2013) that I like a lot:
– That’s what I love about music.
– What?
– One of the most banal scenes is suddenly invested with so much meaning, you know? All these banalities, they’re suddenly turned into these… these beautiful, effervescent pearls. From music.
I’ve got to say, as I’ve gotten older, these pearls are just… becoming increasingly more and more rare to me.
On No Time to Die (2021)
I’ve seen No Time to Die (2021).
Thoughts?
- Bond seems to show his age.
- The visual aspects of the movie were great.
- I liked the natural feeling I got from the movie. It seemed that the scenes were not from a movie, but from reality.
I enjoyed the movie, although I didn’t get any ideas from it.
On “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas” (2008)
I’ve seen “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas” (2008).
First, the conclusion: do I recommend the movie? Yes, but it’s not an easy-to-digest movie.
Some thoughts (with big spoilers!)?
Despre The Card Counter (2021)
The Card Counter m-a pus pe gânduri.
Joker is a part of life
A lot of times, when I think of Joker (2019), I consider it a strange person in a normal world.
It might be wrong.
Perhaps Joker fits perfectly in this world.
Perhaps weirdness is a state, we are all weird.
Joking looks bad, while it does bring happiness it’s also considered aggressive.
But, perhaps, this, too, is part of life.
The thing with joking is that it changes the system.
You laugh at the system, the system moves from A to B. It causes a big shift.
One step in changing an issue is acknowledging that this is, really, an issue.
But when you laugh, two things happen:
- You acknowledge there is an issue.
- You either accept it, and it shifts, or you refuse it, and, again, it shifts.
Laughing changes the system.
