Sometimes, I stay a bit late. What did I learn from doing this multiple times?
- Winning one hour by staying late and solving some things generally doesn’t compensate for waking up the next day tired (lack of energy and attention).
- It’s much better to focus on the long run rather than immediate wins.
I see a lot of people buying cars, with all the “luggage” they carry with them, both for personal importance and for society as a whole (ecology). I consider I’m better off without one.
Some people, including me, hurry. Then they are surprised when mistakes happen. For sure, it’s much better to do some tasks quickly. But if the result is losing some important aspect, then the price is not worth paying.
