One thing occurs a lot when talking about Romania:
- „We’re at a poor level, everything is bad, it’s no hope”.
I think the counter-arguments are these:
- It takes time. We advanced a lot from 1990 to 2000, from 2000 to 2010, and from 2010 to 2020. Compare Romania in 1990 to Romania in 2020 and there is a difference. A huge difference, I’d say.
- It’s not that bad. We compare ourselves frequently to the most advanced nations, but we’re not that bad in the overall view of the world.
- It will be better, as time goes by. I’m confident that we’re on a growing wave.
