The end of SEO

I talked with a friend, and he said that AI will end SEO.

Two ways of looking at this assertion:

#1 Google searches will stop delivering links. While this might be true at some point, currently, it’s far from there.

#2 AI will replace SEO jobs. As AI progresses, this will become increasingly true, but new types of jobs will appear. Which? I don’t know, but ChatGPT wasn’t hot five years ago, so five years from now, we’ll have to see what opportunities arise.

On a personal level, I have plenty of knowledge and experience to shift careers.

George Bush is out jogging one morning and notices Little Johnny on the corner with a box. Curious, he runs over to Little Johnny and says,

„What’s in the box, kid?” Little Johnny says, „Kittens, they’re brand new kittens.”

George Bush laughs and says, „What kind of kittens are they?”

„Republicans,” says Little Johnny. „Oh that’s cute,” he says and he goes on his way.

A couple of days later, George Bush is running with his buddy Dick Cheney and he spies Little Johnny with his box just ahead. George Bush says to Dick, „You gotta check this out,” and they both jog over to Little Johnny.

George Bush says, „Look in the box Dick, isn’t that cute? Look at those little kittens. Hey, kid, tell my friend Dick what kind of kittens they are.” Little Johnny replies, „They’re Democrats.” „Whoa!” George Bush says, „I came by here the other day and you said they were Republicans. What’s up?”

„Well,” Little Johnny explains, „their eyes are open now.”

Nu știu de vreo plângere la desenele lui, să fie ceva nepotrivit.

Uneori, în desene, pune accent pe personajele feminine.

Are un stil anume, foarte relaxat și calm, dar uneori desenele lui nu au un fir axat pe acțiune, și, deși se întâmplă lucruri în filme, nu în toate ai și acțiune

Îmi plac mai multe desene animate ale lui.

Somebody told me details about a car accident. It wasn’t pretty, even to imagine.

This makes me think – is it that important to avoid precautions just to get from A to B faster?

Isn’t it better to arrive a few minutes late, but with extra care in not getting into accidents?

In my opinion, avoiding such risks is well worth the price of waiting more.

But, of course, nobody likes to declutter, do dishes and wait in line.

First time vs. Comeback

I see this quite often – people create websites for those who visit it just once – the first time.

But what happens to people who keep coming back to the website?

For example, at Lumea SEO PPC we created the website in the style of a blog – you read the latest posts, and only if you require additional details there are other pages.

We put a lot of emphasis on people returning to the website.

For this purpose, I rather suggest you create a blog, and add to it some pages to make it a website (about/contact/other pages like services), rather than create a website and attach a blog to it.

The blog should be the important one, not the website.

There’s a book called: „Între Dumnezeu și neamul meu” – Petre Țuțea.

There is a horizontal axis (love, my people) and a vertical axis (God, purpose).

I think there might be a diagonal within these axises: not caring, being thick skinned (nepăsare / nesimțire).

In this situation, where you don’t care, you have neither a purpose, not love.

I think these words combine multiple plans – not caring, being thick skinned (nepăsare / nesimțire).

And they’re even harder to fix, as they are on multiple levels.

If you have no love and no purpose, I think you are in a poor position.

Too much / little focus

You can get too much focus or too little focus.

It’s not an easy balance.

For example, you can focus too much on things you can’t control. „What’s the situation in the US?”. Ok, other than the general culture, why is it important?

But, on the other hand, if you only read „How to be more successful at X,” you’ll have a view that is too narrow.

There are other implications, also. You can consider what appears in the media as the ultimate truth.

For example, you think you know what it’s like to live in the US just by seeing the news. While not a lie, the image might be far from complete.

MerchantPro Compass: The local eCommerce market resumes its upward trend with +12% in the second quarter 2024

Analysis conducted by MerchantPro – the local SaaS solutions platform for e-Commerce – on data recorded by active online stores in both 2024 and the first half of last year, shows a sales increase of over 9% in the first half of 2024 compared to the same period last year. The positive dynamics are mainly due to the evolution in the second quarter, which saw a sales increase of over 12%. From the perspective of the number of orders placed by customers in the first half of this year, the growth remains stable, similar to the value from 2023 (+6.71%).

During the April-June 2024 period, stores operating on the MerchantPro platform recorded a 12% increase in the total value of goods sold, compared to the same period last year. The number of orders increased by 7%, and the average order value saw an increase of nearly 5%, reaching 54 euros.
