Dating seems harmless,
You meet a person who you might spend your life with,
And, most of the time, it’s fun.
What if it isn’t?
Neither harmless,
Nor fun.
What is the likelihood that at the very first date,
You’ll meet someone who you’ll love your entire life?
I don’t want to say „spend time with for the entire life”,
But just „love it forever after”.
In my opinion, is rather small,
And, if you’re like me,
It’s very small
(I tend not to like people, to say the least).
So, the date is transformed into
„I don’t like you,
I can use you & abuse you & adore you,
(Robbie Williams – Supreme – YouTube; lyrics)
We can have some fun together,
Then I’ll dump you”.
Where’s the fun in knowing you’ll do so?
What’s the pleasure of going to a date,
In the hope of forever happiness,
If you know the likelihood of this ever happening
Is very small?
You see a person in front of you,
She smiles, she’s happy,
And all you can think of
Is making that person hurt.
Sorry, dating is more like a horror movie
For me.
PS: I’ve met one person who wouldn’t launch a coffee shop,
Because of Romania’s corruption.
Good people stop doing good things,
Because of evil things.
On another hand, although Google claims
They do no evil,
In reality, I don’t believe they put this to practice.
