There’s a new category on my blog,
For expressing gratitude.
For I, and not only I!,
Need a reminder on what’s good and positive in my life.
So, what am I grateful for?
I’m grateful that I like the Parable below (source »)
The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector
To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’
“But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
“I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
I’m grateful for being healthy,
In power and good spirit,
For living by the seaside,
For having sun outside,
For the basic needs in my life
Having them filled up,
For I have seen a lot of things in my life,
Both external and internal,
For I have managed to see what walls are inside my head,
And, at times, even find solutions to break them,
Or, at least, how to go around them,
For the friends I got,
For the top people that are not so top people anymore,
For ecstatic images,
For the good and truth,
For nature (even though I sometimes pass by it),
For concrete and cities,
For the sky and the earth,
For light and dark,
For the gold in the dark
And for the high temperatures of the light.
